HOW TO REPAIR STUCK SPRINKLER HEADS USING EVERYDAY PETROLIUM JELLY (VASELINE) This is (sometimes) a short term fix (and cheaper) until you can buy a new one, but it does work well on dirty or a high calcified sprinkler and may be a long term fix I have tried all kinds of oils,silicon, and expensive Teflon and this does the best and it is cheap.
