Also piping systems using different joint techniques need the thread joint to connect valves, vessels, etc. Since 150 years Georg Fischer manufactures threaded malleable cast iron fittings. This video shows how to apply hemp and sealing paste properly on an external thread of a steel pipe and to connect it with our malleable cast iron fitting.
