In this video, I will show you how to build an adapter to connect a garden hose to your IBC tote holding your captured rain water. The ball valves on IBC totes have very uncommon adapters that you will not find in a big box store or even a plumbing supply store.

To build this, you will need:

2″ Female Adapter, Slip x FPT, PVC Schedule 40 (SKU 610356 at Home Depot)
2″ x ¾” Reducer Bushing, SP x FPT, PVC Schedule 40 (SKU 744819 at Home Depot)
¾” brass faucet with hose bib (SKU 641995 at Home Depot)

You may also need in rare cases another adapter to convert to 2″ NPT. Scroll to the bottom of the page at: https://www.lexingtoncontainercompany.com/275-Gallon-IBC-Totes.html for more information.
