Ramie packing is braided from natural ramie impregnated with PTFE emulsion, ramie has higher structural strength and turns soft in the water. The PTFE emulsion enhances the lubrication ability of ramie.

In this video I will be showing you how I went about building my own pot still. The purpose of this video is to give an idea of what goes into making one. Keep in mind that this is my own design and there are bound to be design flaws. There are definitely improvements that can be made.

Unfortunately i could not show how i weld the parts together i don’t have a bi-pod for my camera , but i have tried to explain in English what i have done as best as i can , If your have any questions about the parts or the design please do not hesitate. I would also be happy to upload a video for people that would like a view at a specific part on the pump.
