The method of secure coupling of the CliP® Partial Prosthesis is revolutionary: A tensile, seven-pronged clip is simply clipped onto the stapes capitulum. Due to its built-in resilience it creates a very stable intraoperative situation for reconstructing the tympanic membrane and an excellent auditory transmission chain. With this new ossicular coupling technique, the risk of postoperative implant dislocation with resulting hearing impairment is almost impossible.
